Jérôme Berthiau

Jérôme graduated with an MSc in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School. After initial experiences in M&A at Clearwater and private debt at LGT, he joined the structured finance teams at Société Générale, where he participated in numerous large-cap LBOs in France for 2 years. He then joined the private debt team at Five Arrows (Rothschild & Co group), where he spent 6 years investing in a dozen European companies through unitranche, mezzanine debt, or PIK Notes. Jérôme has been an M&A advisor for 4 years, operating primarily in the tech, healthcare, industry, and B2B services sectors. He co-founded Alecia in 2024.
